2022-07-08dt-bindings: input: Centralize 'linux,input-type' definitionRob Herring
Multiple bindings use 'linux,input-type', but there is not a central definition and type. Add 'linux,input-type' to input.yaml and update all the users to use it. 2022-07-08dt-bindings: input: Increase maximum keycode value to 0x2ffRob Herring
The maximum keycode value for Linux is 0x2ff, not 0xff. There's already users and examples with values greater than 0xff, but the schema is not yet applied in those cases. 2021-05-17dt-bindings: More removals of type references on common propertiesRob Herring
Users of common properties shouldn't have a type definition as the common schemas already have one. A few new ones slipped in and *-names was missed in the last clean-up pass. Drop all the unnecessary type references in the tree. A meta-schema update to catch these is pending. 2021-03-23dt-bindings: More cleanup of standard unit propertiesRob Herring

2020-10-07dt-bindings: Explicitly allow additional properties in common schemasRob Herring
In order to add meta-schema checks for additional/unevaluatedProperties being present, all schema need to make this explicit. As common/shared schema are included by other schemas, they should always allow for additionalProperties. 2020-05-03dt-bindings: Remove cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring
json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace changes from the script.
