2021-01-04Documentation: HID: hiddev editing & correctionsRandy Dunlap
Do basic editing & correction to hiddev.rst: - use HID instead of hid consistently - add hyphenation of multi-word adjectives - drop a duplicate word - unhyphenate "a priori" Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org> Cc: Jiri Kosina <jikos@kernel.org> Cc: Benjamin Tissoires <benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com> Cc: linux-input@vger.kernel.org Cc: Jonathan Corbet <corbet@lwn.net> Cc: linux-doc@vger.kernel.org Cc: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz>
2020-07-13docs: hid: Convert link to httpsAlexander A. Klimov
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2019-07-02docs: hid: convert to ReSTMauro Carvalho Chehab
Rename the HID documentation files to ReST, add an index for them and adjust in order to produce a nice html output via the Sphinx build system. While here, fix the sysfs example from hid-sensor.txt, that has a lot of "?" instead of the proper UTF-8 characters that are produced by the tree command. At its new index.rst, let's add a :orphan: while this is not linked to the main index.rst file, in order to avoid build warnings.
