2020-11-24dmaengine: qcom: Add GPI dma driverVinod Koul
This controller provides DMAengine capabilities for a variety of peripheral buses such as I2C, UART, and SPI. By using GPI dmaengine driver, bus drivers can use a standardize interface that is protocol independent to transfer data between memory and peripheral. 2020-11-24dmaengine: qcom: Add ADM driverJonathan McDowell
Add the DMA engine driver for the QCOM Application Data Mover (ADM) DMA controller found in the MSM8x60 and IPQ/APQ8064 platforms. The ADM supports both memory to memory transactions and memory to/from peripheral device transactions. The controller also provides flow control capabilities for transactions to/from peripheral devices. The initial release of this driver supports slave transfers to/from peripherals and also incorporates CRCI (client rate control interface) flow control. The hardware only supports a 32 bit physical address, so specifying !PHYS_ADDR_T_64BIT gives maximum COMPILE_TEST coverage without having to spend effort on kludging things in the code that will never actually be needed on real hardware. 2020-06-14treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'Masahiro Yamada
Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>
2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-03-11dmaengine: add Qualcomm Technologies HIDMA channel driverSinan Kaya
This patch adds support for hidma engine. The driver consists of two logical blocks. The DMA engine interface and the low-level interface. The hardware only supports memcpy/memset and this driver only support memcpy interface. HW and driver doesn't support slave interface. 2016-03-11dmaengine: add Qualcomm Technologies HIDMA management driverSinan Kaya
The Qualcomm Technologies HIDMA device has been designed to support virtualization technology. The driver has been divided into two to follow the hardware design. 1. HIDMA Management driver 2. HIDMA Channel driver Each HIDMA HW consists of multiple channels. These channels share some set of common parameters. These parameters are initialized by the management driver during power up. Same management driver is used for monitoring the execution of the channels. Management driver can change the performance behavior dynamically such as bandwidth allocation and prioritization. The management driver is executed in host context and is the main management entity for all channels provided by the device.
