git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC DT updates from Olof Johansson: "Most of this branch consists of updates, additions and general churn of the device tree source files in the kernel (arch/arm/boot/dts). Besides that, there are a few things to point out: - Lots of platform conversion on OMAP2+, with removal of old board files for various platforms. - Final conversion of a bunch of ux500 (ST-Ericsson) platforms as well - Some updates to pinctrl and other subsystems. Most of these are for DT-enablement of the various platforms and acks have been collected" * tag 'dt-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (385 commits) ARM: dts: bcm11351: Use GIC/IRQ defines for sdio interrupts ARM: dts: bcm: Add missing UARTs for bcm11351 (bcm281xx) ARM: dts: bcm281xx: Add card detect GPIO ARM: dts: rename ARCH_BCM to ARCH_BCM_MOBILE (dt) ARM: bcm281xx: Add device node for the GPIO controller ARM: mvebu: Add Netgear ReadyNAS 104 board ARM: tegra: fix Tegra114 IOMMU register address ARM: kirkwood: add support for OpenBlocks A7 platform ARM: dts: omap4-panda: add DPI pinmuxing ARM: dts: AM33xx: Add RNG node ARM: dts: AM33XX: Add hwspinlock node ARM: dts: OMAP5: Add hwspinlock node ARM: dts: OMAP4: Add hwspinlock node ARM: dts: use 'status' property for PCIe nodes ARM: dts: sirf: add missed address-cells and size-cells for prima2 I2C ARM: dts: sirf: add missed cell, cs and dma channel for SPI nodes ARM: dts: sirf: add missed graphics2d iobg in atlas6 dts ARM: dts: sirf: add missed chhifbg node in prima2 and atlas6 dts ARM: dts: sirf: add missed memcontrol-monitor node in prima2 and atlas6 dts ARM: mvebu: Add the core-divider clock to Armada 370/XP ...

There is no users of this code and there is already a pinctrl driver written for s3c24xx which is going to be used on any s3c24xx DT platforms. Hence this has been effectively a dead code in mainline. 2013-05-21pinctrl: Add pinctrl-s3c24xx driverHeiko Stuebner
The s3c24xx pins follow a similar pattern as the other Samsung SoCs and can therefore reuse the already introduced infrastructure. The s3c24xx SoCs have one design oddity in that the first 4 external interrupts do not reside in the eint pending register but in the main interrupt controller instead. We solve this by forwarding the external interrupt from the main controller into the irq domain of the pin bank. The masking/acking of these interrupts is handled in the same way. Furthermore the S3C2412/2413 SoCs contain another oddity in that they keep the same 4 eints in the main interrupt controller and eintpend register and requiring ack operations to happen in both. This is solved by using different compatible properties for the wakeup eint node which set a property accordingly. commit 7b45ed96 ("ARM: S3C24XX: handle s3c2412 eints using new infrastructure") introduced build warning and this patch fixes that: drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c: In function 's3c24xx_gpiolib_fbank_to_irq': drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c:1126:5: warning: suggest explicit braces to avoid ambiguous 'else' [-Wparentheses] Reported-by: kbuild test robot <fengguang.wu@intel.com> Cc: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2013-03-05ARM: S3C24XX: handle s3c2412 eints using new infrastructureHeiko Stuebner
The s3c2412 handles the eints 0 to 3 different than all the other SoCs of the 24xx range. These eints must be acked and masked in the regular bits as well as the bits 0 to 3 of the eint registers, which are unused on the other SoCs. This of course can be realized using the new infrastructure with the eint bits in the main register being the parent interrupts of the same bits in the eint register. The s3c2412 therefore gets its own IRQ_EINT0 to 4 constants that reside in the newly created gap before IRQ_EINT4. gpio-samsung, as the only user of these is modified to return the correct values when handling gpio_to_irq requests on s3c2412 based machines. Due to lack of hardware this is compile tested only, but should hopefully work as intended. Signed-off-by: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann: "A large number of cleanups, all over the platforms. This is dominated largely by the Samsung platforms (s3c, s5p, exynos) and a few of the others moving code out of arch/arm into more appropriate subsystems. The clocksource and irqchip drivers are now abstracted to the point where platforms that are already cleaned up do not need to even specify the driver they use, it can all get configured from the device tree as we do for normal device drivers. The clocksource changes basically touch every single platform in the process. We further clean up the use of platform specific header files here, with the goal of turning more of the platforms over to being "multiplatform" enabled, which implies that they cannot expose their headers to architecture independent code any more. It is expected that no functional changes are part of the cleanup. The overall reduction in total code lines is mostly the result of removing broken and obsolete code." * tag 'cleanup' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (133 commits) ARM: mvebu: correct gated clock documentation ARM: kirkwood: add missing include for nsa310 ARM: exynos: move exynos4210-combiner to drivers/irqchip mfd: db8500-prcmu: update resource passing drivers/db8500-cpufreq: delete dangling include ARM: at91: remove NEOCORE 926 board sunxi: Cleanup the reset code and add meaningful registers defines ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-mem.h local ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-power.h local ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-s3c2412-mem.h local ARM: S3C24XX: Remove plat-s3c24xx directory in arch/arm/ ARM: S3C24XX: transform s3c2443 subirqs into new structure ARM: S3C24XX: modify s3c2443 irq init to initialize all irqs ARM: S3C24XX: move s3c2443 irq code to irq.c ARM: S3C24XX: transform s3c2416 irqs into new structure ARM: S3C24XX: modify s3c2416 irq init to initialize all irqs ARM: S3C24XX: move s3c2416 irq init to common irq code ARM: S3C24XX: Modify s3c_irq_wake to use the hwirq property ARM: S3C24XX: Move irq syscore-ops to irq-pm clocksource: always define CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE ...

2012-06-03gpio/samsung: fix the typo 'exynos5_xxx' instead of 'exonys5_xxx'Kukjin Kim
Should be 'exynos5_xxx' instead of 'exonys5_xxx'. It happened at the commit 30b842889eea ("Merge tag 'soc2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc") during v3.5 merge window. Pull arm-soc: soc specific changes (part 2) from Olof Johansson: "This adds support for the spear13xx platform, which has first been under review a long time ago and finally been completed after generic spear work has gone into the clock, dt and pinctrl branches. Also a number of updates for the samsung socs are part of this branch." Fix up trivial conflicts in drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c that look much worse than they are: the exonys5 init code was refactored in commit fd454997d687 ("gpio: samsung: refactor gpiolib init for exynos4/5"), and then commit f10590c9836c ("ARM: EXYNOS: add GPC4 bank instance") added a new gpio chip define and did tiny updates to the init code. So the conflict diff looks like hell, but it's actually a fairly simple change. * tag 'soc2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (34 commits) ARM: exynos: fix building with CONFIG_OF disabled ARM: EXYNOS: Add AUXDATA for i2c controllers ARM: dts: Update device tree source files for EXYNOS5250 ARM: EXYNOS: Add device tree support for interrupt combiner ARM: EXYNOS: Add irq_domain support for interrupt combiner ARM: EXYNOS: Remove a new bus_type instance for EXYNOS5 ARM: EXYNOS: update irqs for EXYNOS5250 SoC ARM: EXYNOS: Add pre-divider and fout mux clocks for bpll and mpll ARM: EXYNOS: add GPC4 bank instance ARM: EXYNOS: Redefine IRQ_MCT_L0,1 definition ARM: EXYNOS: Modify the GIC physical address for static io-mapping ARM: EXYNOS: Add watchdog timer clock instance pinctrl: SPEAr1310: Fix pin numbers for clcd_high_res SPEAr: Update MAINTAINERS and Documentation SPEAr13xx: Add defconfig SPEAr13xx: Add compilation support SPEAr13xx: Add dts and dtsi files pinctrl: Add SPEAr13xx pinctrl drivers pinctrl: SPEAr: Create macro for declaring GPIO PINS SPEAr13xx: Add common clock framework support ...

2012-05-11gpio: samsung: refactor gpiolib init for exynos4/5Olof Johansson
Only code move, no functional change. Main reason to do this was to get rid of the warnings: drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c: In function 'samsung_gpiolib_init': drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c:2974:1: warning: label 'err_ioremap4' defined but not used [-Wunused-label] drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c:2722:47: warning: unused variable 'gpio_base4' [-Wunused-variable] without adding more ifdef mess. I think this whole file would do well being coverted over to a platform driver and moving most of the tables out to SoC code and/or device trees, but since that changes init ordering it needs to be done with some care, i.e. not at this time.
