2018-12-21mailbox: hi3660: Use device-managed registration APIThierry Reding
Get rid of some boilerplate driver removal code by using the newly added device-managed registration API. Tested-by: Leo Yan <leo.yan@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Jassi Brar <jaswinder.singh@linaro.org>
2018-12-12mailbox: Hi3660: Fixup mailbox state machine malfunction issueKevin Wangtao
Current mailbox driver of Hi3660 release the mailbox directly before sending a new message which may cause last message lost and next message sending doesn't take effect actually. This patch fixs this issue by following the right progress below, each time before sending a message, mailbox driver will check whether the mailbox is in ready state, if last message has been acknowledged, the mailbox driver will clear the ack state to turn the mailbox to ready state again. 2018-12-12mailbox: hi3660: constify mbox_chan_ops structureJulia Lawall
The mbox_chan_ops structure can be const as it is only stored in the ops field of an mbox_controller structure and this field is const. Done with the help of Coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Jassi Brar <jaswinder.singh@linaro.org>
2018-03-20mailbox: Add support for Hi3660 mailboxKaihua Zhong
Hi3660 mailbox controller is used to send message within multiple processors, MCU, HIFI, etc. It supports 32 mailbox channels and every channel can only be used for single transferring direction. Once the channel is enabled, it needs to specify the destination interrupt and acknowledge interrupt, these two interrupt vectors are used to create the connection between the mailbox and interrupt controllers. The data transferring supports two modes, one is named as "automatic acknowledge" mode so after send message the kernel doesn't need to wait for acknowledge from remote and directly return; there have another mode is to rely on handling interrupt for acknowledge. This commit is for initial version driver, which only supports "automatic acknowledge" mode to support CPU clock, which is the only one consumer to use mailbox and has been verified. Later may enhance this driver for interrupt mode (e.g. for supporting HIFI).
