2013-01-11net/rxrpc: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook
The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. CC: "David S. Miller" <davem@davemloft.net> Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Acked-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2007-11-30[RXRPC]: Add missing select on CRYPTODavid Howells
AF_RXRPC uses the crypto services, so should depend on or select CRYPTO. Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2007-05-22[AF_RXRPC]: AF_RXRPC depends on IPv4David Howells
Add a dependency for CONFIG_AF_RXRPC on CONFIG_INET. This fixes this error: net/built-in.o: In function `rxrpc_get_peer': (.text+0x42824): undefined reference to `ip_route_output_key' Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2007-05-03[AFS/AF_RXRPC]: Miscellaneous fixes.David Howells
Make miscellaneous fixes to AFS and AF_RXRPC: (*) Make AF_RXRPC select KEYS rather than RXKAD or AFS_FS in Kconfig. (*) Don't use FS_BINARY_MOUNTDATA. (*) Remove a done 'TODO' item in a comemnt on afs_get_sb(). (*) Don't pass a void * as the page pointer argument of kmap_atomic() as this breaks on m68k. Patch from Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org>. (*) Use match_*() functions rather than doing my own parsing. Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2007-04-27[AF_RXRPC/AFS]: Arch-specific fixes.David Howells
Fixes for various arch compilation problems: (*) Missing module exports. (*) Variable name collision when rxkad and af_rxrpc both built in (rxrpc_debug). (*) Large constant representation problem (AFS_UUID_TO_UNIX_TIME). (*) Configuration dependencies. (*) printk() format warnings. 2007-04-26[AF_RXRPC]: Provide secure RxRPC sockets for use by userspace and kernel bothDavid Howells
Provide AF_RXRPC sockets that can be used to talk to AFS servers, or serve answers to AFS clients. KerberosIV security is fully supported. The patches and some example test programs can be found in: http://people.redhat.com/~dhowells/rxrpc/ This will eventually replace the old implementation of kernel-only RxRPC currently resident in net/rxrpc/.
