From 06517c9a336f4c20f2064611bf4b1e7881a95fe1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Matthew Wilcox (Oracle) Date: Mon, 14 Dec 2020 19:07:59 -0800 Subject: sparc: fix handling of page table constructor failure The page has just been allocated, so its refcount is 1. free_unref_page() is for use on pages which have a zero refcount. Use __free_page() like the other implementations of pte_alloc_one(). With this assumption is wouldn't be safe to allow general usage of this function. Moreover, some architectures that implement __kernel_map_pages() have this function guarded by #ifdef DEBUG_PAGEALLOC and some refuse to map/unmap pages when page allocation debugging is disabled at runtime. As all the users of __kernel_map_pages() were converted to use debug_pagealloc_map_pages() it is safe to make it available only when DEBUG_PAGEALLOC is set.
