Enable SDP protocol support in SPL for DH i.MX6 DHSOM, now that those components fit into the SPL due to LTO. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN + CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value. 2021-12-27Finish converting CONFIG_WATCHDOG, HW_WATCHDOG and WDT to KconfigTom Rini
Because of how these symbols work, and the remaining board config.h file uses, we need to do these at the same time. In some cases we just get to move rather directly to the defconfigs. A few cases require manual intervention. For the case of the eb_cpu5282 we need to select HW_WATCHDOG for the target, given how it's implemented. For the cases of m53menlo, dh_imx6, display5, and display5_factory we disable SPL watchdog support as the particular combination of options they want would require either more symbols or enabling SPL_DM. CONFIG_SYS_DFU_MAX_FILE_SIZE to Kconfig Currently the config options CONFIG_SYS_DFU_DATA_BUF_SIZE and CONFIG_SYS_DFU_MAX_FILE_SIZE are being set in include/configs/<board>.h files and also in <board_name>_defconfig files without a Kconfig option. It is easier for users to set these configs in defconfig files than in config header files as they are a part of the source code. Add Kconfig symbols, and update the defconfigs by using tools/moveconfig.py script. This reverts commit 03a673cf49e ("dh_imx6: Switch to full DM-aware"). According to discussion [1], the patch is known to break the dh_imx6 board, however it made it upstream just before 2021.01-rc4, likely by mistake. Revert this patch to put the board back into working order. Also note that this board has no DM SPL support due to OCRAM size limitations, but that is fine, as SPL DM support is optional. 2020-08-25arm: mx6: Make all i.MX6 SoCs user-selectableTom Rini
We have a number of platforms that are a combination of a carrier board and System-on-Module (SoM) that in turn allows for the board to have different SoCs on it. In some cases, this is handled via board-specific Kconfig options. In other cases we make use of CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS. This latter case however can lead to invalid configurations as we will not in turn get options that in Kconfig are selected by or depend on that setting. To resolve this, make the SoC option a choice in Kconfig and make boards depend on what they can support. This change opens us up for further clean-ups in the cases where a single CONFIG_TARGET_xxx can support different SoCs and today they do not, or do not cleanly do so.
