2018-08-16configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini
We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. 2018-06-05ARM: kirkwood: remove automatic I2C config if DM_I2C is enabledChris Packham
The mach/config.h file would helpfully define CONFIG_SYS_I2C and CONFIG_SYS_I2C_MVTWSI if CONFIG_CMD_I2C was defined by the board. This conflicts with the way DM_I2C works. As a transitional measure don't automatically define these if CONFIG_DM_I2C is defined. It should be possible to remove this once all kirkwood boards are migrated to DM. 2018-06-05arm: kirkwood: lsxl: Add SPI driver model supportMichael Walle
This patch shows how to enable driver model support for the LS-CHLv2 and LS-XHL boards. There are a couple of open questions: - do I need the u-boot,dm-pre-reloc tags in the device tree? - should mach/config.h define CONFIG_DM_SEQ_ALIAS? - how can we split this patch or are there any other pending patches which does the same and I didn't catch these. This patch is based on the http://git.denx.de/u-boot-marvell.git (master branch) and needs the following patches, which are still pending: https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/909618/ https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/909617/ https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/909973/ Signed-off-by: Michael Walle <michael@walle.cc> Tested-by: Michael Walle <michael@walle.cc> Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2017-08-16env: Rename getenv/_f() to env_get()Simon Glass
We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also. 2017-05-22Kconfig: Add a CONFIG_IDE optionSimon Glass

2016-08-26ARM: Move SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE over to KconfigTom Rini
This series moves the CONFIG_SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE. First, in nearly all cases we are mirroring the values used by the Linux Kernel here. Also, so long as (and in this case, it is true) we implement flushes in hunks that are no larger than the smallest implementation (and given that we mirror the Linux Kernel, again we are fine) it is OK to align higher. The biggest changes here are that we always use 64 bytes for CPU_V7 even if for example the underlying core is only 32 bytes (this mirrors Linux). Second, we say ARM64 uses 64 bytes not 128 (as found in the Linux Kernel) as we do not need multi-platform support (to this degree) and only the Cavium ThunderX 88xx series has a use for such large alignment.
