2024-04-26rockchip: rock5b-rk3588: use DRAM banks from ATAGSQuentin Schulz
RK3588-based devices now support creating DRAM banks with proper holes by reading the ATAGS from Rockchip TPL blob, so let's use that mechanism instead. Since ft_board_setup isn't defined anymore, there's no need for selecting CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP. Similarly, because the rock5b-rk3588.c would be empty, it is simply removed, with the (would-be-empty) Makefile as well. The CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANK now defaults to 10 which is a safe bet for reading banks from ATAGS, so let's use the default value instead. As part of reviewing a new platform, Daniel Schwierzeck noted that we can have an empty Makefile in the board directory and don't need an empty board.c file as well. 2023-02-28board: rock5b-rk3588: add memory gaps into kernel's DTBEugen Hristev
RK3588 has two memory gaps when using 16 GiB DRAM size: [0x3fc000000 , 0x3fc500000] and [0x3fff00000 , 0x3ffffffff] If the kernel is agnostic to these gaps, accessing the area causes a SError panic. Hence, add reserved memory areas in kernel's DTB before booting. Signed-off-by: Eugen Hristev <eugen.hristev@collabora.com> Reviewed-by: Kever Yang <kever.yang@rock-chips.com>

2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
