Some devices keep 2 copies of the bootloader_message in the misc partition and write each in sequence when updating. This ensures that there is always one valid copy of the bootloader_message. 2023-01-11fastboot: Add OEM run commandSean Anderson
This adds the UUU UCmd functionality as an OEM command. While the fastboot tool allows sending arbitrary commands as long as they are prefixed with "oem". This allows running generic U-Boot commands over fastboot without UUU, which is especially useful when not using USB. This is really the route we should have gone in the first place when adding these commands. While we're here, clean up the UUU Kconfig a bit. Quite a lot of the code in common/relates to booting and images. Before adding more it seems like a good time to move the code into its own directory. Most files with 'boot' or 'image' in them are moved, except: - autoboot.c which relates to U-Boot automatically running a script - bootstage.c which relates to U-Boot timing Drop the removal of boot* files from the output directory, since this interfers with the symlinks created by tools and there does not appear to be any such file from my brief testing. add support for the UUU commands ACmd and UCmd. Enable them through the Kconfig option CONFIG_FASTBOOT_UUU_SUPPORT base was commit in NXP kernel 9b149c2a2882: ("MLK-18591-3 android: Add FSL android fastboot support") and ported it to current mainline. 2020-09-01fastboot: Support defining raw partitions without a partition tableFilip Brozovic
Add support for defining raw fastboot partitions in eMMC by specifying the offset and size in an environment variable. Optionally, the eMMC hardware partition number may also be specified. Add optional parameter to 'avb verify' sub-command, so that user is able to specify which slot to use, in case when user's partitions are slotted. If that parameter is omitted, the behavior of 'avb verify' will be the same as before, so user API is content.
