2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07misc: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this driver directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-11-05cros_ec: Fix up driver names to avoid dtoc warningsSimon Glass
Fix the dtoc warning in these file by using a driver name that matches the compatible string. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>

Move this header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-02-08cros_ec: i2c: Add support for version 3 of the EC protocolMoritz Fischer
Add support for version 3 of the ec protocol. It basically works by stitching some additional header in front (special command code), and having a result and packet_length stitched on for the reply. 2017-02-08cros_ec: i2c: Group i2c write / read into single transactionMoritz Fischer
Replace dm_i2c_write() / dm_i2c_read() with transaction using struct i2c_msg[2] in order to allow for i2c controller to detect write/read cycle to emit a repeated start condition. 2015-04-18cros_ec: exynos: Match up device tree with kernel versionSimon Glass
The U-Boot device trees are slightly different in a few places. Adjust them to remove most of the differences. Note that U-Boot does not support the concept of interrupts as distinct from GPIOs, so this difference remains. For sandbox, use the same keyboard file as for ARM boards and drop the host emulation bus which seems redundant. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-04-16dm: core: Add dev_get_uclass_priv() to access uclass private dataSimon Glass
Add a convenience function to access the private data that a uclass stores for each of its devices. Convert over most existing uses for consistency and to provide an example for others. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

Move this driver to use driver model and update the snow configuration to match. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2014-03-17cros_ec: Clean up multiple EC protocol supportRandall Spangler
Version 1 protocols (without command version) were already no longer supported in cros_ec.c. This removes some dead code from the cros_ec_i2c driver. Version 2 protcols (with command version) are now called protocol_version=2, instead of cmd_version_is_supported=1. A subsequent change will introduce protocol version 3 for SPI.
