2022-07-26addrmap: Support on sandboxSimon Glass
Update this feature so that it works on sandbox, using a basic identity mapping. This allows us to run the 'ut addrmap' test. Also fix up the test to use the correct macros to access the linker list, so that the 'ut addrmap' command actually works. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2021-03-05lib: addr_map: Move address_map[] type to the header fileBin Meng
At present address_map[] is static and its type is unknown to external modules. In preparation to create a command to list its contents, this patch moves its type definition and declaration to the header file. 2021-03-05include: Remove extern from addr_map.hBin Meng
Remove the extern of the header because they are useless. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Priyanka Jain <priyanka.jain@nxp.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-01-19Add more SPDX-License-Identifier tagsTom Rini
In a number of places we had wordings of the GPL (or LGPL in a few cases) license text that were split in such a way that it wasn't caught previously. Convert all of these to the correct SPDX-License-Identifier tag. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2012-07-06lib/powerpc: addrmap_phys_to_virt() should return a pointerTimur Tabi
addrmap_phys_to_virt() converts a physical address (phys_addr_t) to a virtual address, so it should return a pointer instead of an unsigned long. Its counterpart, addrmap_virt_to_phys(), takes a pointer, so now they're orthogonal. The only caller of addrmap_phys_to_virt() converts the return value to a pointer anyway. 2008-12-15Introduce addr_map libraryKumar Gala
Add a library that helps in translating between virtual and physical addresses. This library can be useful as a simple means to implement map_physmem() and virt_to_phys() for platforms that need functionality beyond the simple 1:1 mapping. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
