2018-05-07 | SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style | Tom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2009-10-03 | fpga: Remove relocation fixups | Peter Tyser
PPC boards are the only users of the current FPGA code which is littered with manual relocation fixups. Now that proper relocation is supported for PPC boards, remove FPGA manual relocation. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
2008-04-13 | Altera Stratix II support | eran liberty
Adds Support for Altera's Stratix II. Within your board specific init file you will have to call 1. fpga_init (/* relocated code offset. usually => */ gd->reloc_off); 2. fpga_add (fpga_altera, (Altera_desc*)&altera_desc); Altera_desc* contines (for example): { Altera_StratixII, /* part type */ passive_serial, /* interface type */ 1, /* bytes of data part can accept */ (void *)(&funcs), /* interface function table */ 0L, /* base interface address */ 0 /* implementation specific cookie */ } funcs is the interface. It is of type altera_board_specific_func. It looks like this: altera_board_specific_func func = { pre_fn, config_fn, status_fn, done_fn, clk_fn, data_fn, abort_fn, post_fn, }; you will have to implement these functions, which is usually bit banging some gpio.
