2024-01-11test: CONFIG_UT_BOOTSTD must depend on CONFIG_BOOTSTDHeinrich Schuchardt
Building sandbox_defconfig with CONFIG_BOOTSTD=n CONFIG_UT_BOOTSTD=y leads to an error /usr/bin/ld: test/cmd_ut.o:(.data.rel.cmd_ut_sub+0xc0): undefined reference to `do_ut_bootstd' Add the missing dependency. 2023-12-13test: Run bootstd tests only on sandboxSimon Glass
These make use of disk images which are not available on reak boards. Add a new Kconfig to ensure these tests only run where they are valid. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-12-13test: Make UT_LIB_ASN1 depend on sandboxSimon Glass
This doesn't seem to work on a real board, so use the test on sandbox only. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-11-07test: Make UNIT_TEST depend on CMDLINESimon Glass
Many tests make some use of the command line, so require it for all test code. This could be teased apart, perhaps with a test flag indicating that it uses the command line. Leave that for later. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-10-17test: spl: Split tests up and use some configsSean Anderson
In order to make adding new spl unit tests easier, especially when they may have many dependencies, add some Kconfigs for the existing image test. Split it into the parts which are generic (such as callbacks) and the test-specific parts. Signed-off-by: Sean Anderson <seanga2@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-09-19test: Move POST under a renamed Testing sectionSimon Glass
Rename Unit tests to Testing, since it is a stretch to describe some of the tests as unit tests. Move POST there as well, so it doesn't show up by itself in the top-level menu. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-04-25test: move unit tests into a sub-menuHeinrich Schuchardt

2022-12-05post: Migrate to KconfigTom Rini
We move the existing CONFIG_POST_* functionality over to CFG_POST and then introduce CONFIG_POST to Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-08-10test: Add some tests for kconfig.hSimon Glass
The macros in this file are a little confusing and we currently have no tests to check that they work as expected. Add some tests which check the macros in C code. Add a few tests which check that the build errors are generated correctly too, using buildman's -a option. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-07-07spl: Ensure all SPL symbols in Kconfig have some SPL dependencyTom Rini
Tighten up symbol dependencies in a number of places. Ensure that a SPL specific option has at least a direct dependency on SPL. In places where it's clear that we depend on something more specific, use that dependency instead. This means in a very small number of places we can drop redundant dependencies. 2022-05-03lib: fix selection of CONFIG_CHARSETHeinrich Schuchardt
lib/charset.c is not optional for EFI_APP || EFI_LOADER || UFS || UT_UNICODE. These must select CONFIG_CHARSET. Fixes: 726cd9836db0 ("efi: Make unicode printf available to the app") Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <heinrich.schuchardt@canonical.com>
2021-07-23lib: add crypt subsystemSteffen Jaeckel
Add the basic functionality required to support the standard crypt format. The files crypt-sha256.c and crypt-sha512.c originate from libxcrypt and their formatting is therefor retained. The integration is done via a crypt_compare() function in crypt.c. ``` libxcrypt $ git describe --long --always --all tags/v4.4.17-0-g6b110bc ``` Signed-off-by: Steffen Jaeckel <jaeckel-floss@eyet-services.de> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>

2020-04-16test: log functions with CONFIG_LOG=nHeinrich Schuchardt
If CONFIG_LOG=n, we still expect output for log_err(), log_warning(), log_notice(), log_info() and in case of DEBUG=1 also for log_debug(). Provide unit tests verifying this. The tests depend on: CONFIG_CONSOLE_RECORD=y CONFIG_LOG=n CONFIG_UT_LOG=y It may be necessary to increase the value of CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_F_LEN to accommodate CONFIG_CONSOLE_RECORD=y. 2019-11-14tests: add OP-TEE test suiteHeiko Stuebner
OP-TEE can get supplied with a devicetree and will then insert its firmware node and reserved-memory sections into it. As this devicetree often is not the one supplied to a later loaded kernel, a previous commit added functionality to transfer these nodes onto that new devicetree. 2016-08-20tests: Introduce DT overlay testsMaxime Ripard
